Hello & Thank you for visiting my page!
I’m Christina, and this blog >>> Justbluedutch<<< is my inspirational hobby about my Expat Life and Art Journal .
I found a soft spot in internet when I caught the blogging bug , a few months just before we moved to Germany around June 2016. Half of my life now is spent as an Expat and quite surprisingly, I love writing about this whole new experience. I started my adventure when I had the chance to live in one of the hottest place in the world,—Kuwait! I worked & live in Kuwait for almost 8 years and now braving our European dreams together with my family. Currently based now in Bavaria, the southern part of Germany , loving the authentic Beer culture ( Bayerische Reinheitsgebot ) in the land of Lederhosen and Dirndls, Bretzel and sausages (Wurst). I share my Expat lifestyle & wanderlust in this Blog with my Dutch husband and my Third Culture daughter, Natalie . I wrote much about my daughter and my experiences being a new Expat Mama & in ‘Raising Natalie ‘.
I am a lover of beautiful works of Art, Architecture, Modern and Contemporary Arts, photography and besides Music, I love Nature photography and island-hopping. One of my favorite mantra is of Ludwig Mies Van De Rohe’s manifesto: ” Less Is More” or ( Wenig is Mehr ) . This has been my approach to life since then. I try my best to live in simplicity everyday and I’m still a work-in-progress.
I believe that Life can really be beautiful if we just make it simple, then it could be More.
